COVID-19 update: 

In order to practice social distancing and prevent the spread of coronavirus disease, our office is closed to the general public.  If you need services or have questions, please contact us.  All completed NC Pre-K applications can be dropped off on Mondays and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm unless otherwise noted. The drop box is available at the front entrance of our building. No guests will be able to access any point further than our main entrance.  Through Facebook and Instagram, we are constantly keeping you up to date with office hours, information, resources, and activities.  Please call 252-939-1200 or email for resource materials, car seat information,  and general inquiries.  We thank you for your understanding during this time as we all strive to do our part to stay safe.

The Partnership for Children is a non-profit organization that provides funding and support to local programs that serve children and their families. Our strategies include high quality pre-kindergarten programs, health initiatives, mentoring opportunities for children and parents and educational enrichment for all who impact children and their successful growth.

We strive to prepare children for school success, offer families developmentally appropriate parenting skills, assist child care facilities to meet the highest quality standards and educate the residents of Lenoir and Greene counties so they can take advantage of our services. How to Apply for Pre-K

The child’s parent or legal guardian will need to complete an application packet so that the Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Greene Counties can determine eligibility. Application packets may be picked up at the Partnership’s Kinston or Snow Hill office or print the downloadable applications here:
