You’re invited to our 30th birthday party! We’re celebrating at our annual Touch a Truck for Treats event on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10am – 1pm. If you are interested in bringing a vehicle, being a resource vendor, or a being a sponsor, please let us know.
This year, we will be partnering with Kinston Police Department and Recovery Together ENC to collect expired/unused medications and provide education about prescription drugs.
Touch-A-Truck for Treats is a community event where families can see, touch, climb aboard and learn about our community’s many fascinating modes of transportation and the vital contribution public works professionals make every day. Find out why they are all such an important part of our community. There will also be lots of other cool modes of transportation to demo. This event will be “Trunk-or-Treat style” and located at the Grainger Stadium Parking Lot (400 E Grainger Ave, Kinston NC).
Come dressed in your best costume, hop in the driver’s seat, make some noise, push some buttons, ring a siren, get lots of candy, and have loads of fun! There will be more vehicles, free face painting, food for purchase, treats, and more surprises! Admission is FREE. All sponsorships and donations help us to fund this event and also sustain early childhood programs and services provided by Lenoir Greene Partnership for Children.
